Mojo’s feeling good!

Phillip Mass’ Gotsomemojo made a sparkling debut over the weekend at Arlington – just one of a number of fine performances from Stidham runners to reaffirm just how good a heart the stable is in at present.

Given a peach of a ride by jockey Mitchell Murrill, Gotsomemojo was settled in midfield before being brought into contention with a tenacious stretch run. This two-year-old son of Paddy O’Prado showed guts aplenty to win by half-a-length, and on the evidence of this one run alone, he sure has a big future ahead of him.

Captain Cadet and Shoot the Loop were unlucky losers, both of them missing out by a nose for owners, Hill ‘N Dale Farm. While it looks like another busy week for the barn.

Handful of Stripes is entered at Del Mar Wednesday, while Wake the Dawn is entered Thursday. Over at Arlington Thursday could see both Aftermarketspoiler and Cassis fly the Stidham flag, while La Luna Rouge and Skipping hold entries Friday.
