Grade II duo!

Stidham fires two arrows at two different Grade II races over the weekend, with The Zip Zip Man headed to the Summer Stakes at Woodbine, and Her Emmynency going for the Sands Point Stakes at Belmont Park.

In the $200,000 Grade II Summer Stakes run over a mile on the turf, The Zip Zip Man faces nine other rivals, and is due to be ridden by Florent Geroux. This son of City Zip has ran only twice, having won on his debut before putting in a commendable performance to finish second in the Colin Stakes last time out. He’s the early Morning Line 5-2 favorite.

Her Emmynency is one of 12 to line up in the $500,000 Summer Stakes over one and one eighth miles on the turf. This three-year-old daughter of Successful Appeal proved herself in fine heart when finishing a game second in the Grade I Del Mar Oaks (beaten less than a length) last time out. Jockey Gary Stevens rides.

Keeneland’s September Sale begins next week, and both Mike and Hilary will be present at the sales. If you’re interested in purchasing a yearling, or simply want to find out more about ownership at Stidham Racing, please call them any time for a free consultation:
