What a weekend of action this promises to be, with Stidham sending out runners in not one, not two, not three, but four stake races at Fair Grounds tomorrow!
Let’s start with the Blushing K. D. Stakes – a $60,000 race for fillies and mares four-years and older. Twelve go to post, and Stidham runs three of them: Zubi Zubi Zu, with Mitchell Murrill on board, Masquerade with Colby Hernandez, and Zloty with Brian Hernandez.
Now to the Letellier Memorial Stakes – a $50,000 race for two-year old fillies. Stidham runs Princess Kennedy, who’s having her first run for the stable. She has the able services of jockey Florent Geroux in the saddle, and she’s a 3-1 shot in the seven runner race.
How about the Buddy Diliberto Memorial Stakes, a $60,000 race for four-year-olds and up, in which Stidham runs Lewis Vale. With jockey Robbie Albarado on board, Lewis Vale is an 8-1 shot in the ten runner field.
Finally, Stidham sends out two shots at the Sugar Bowl Stakes: D. Schifflett and Argot. Worth $50,000 and restricted to two-year-olds, the race has attracted seven runners. Florent Groux rides D. Schifflett, while Jamie Theriot has the mount on Argot.
