Big day!

On a tremendous weekend of action at Fair Grounds, the Stidham stable is headed into battle with an arsenal of big-guns the envy of many a barn.

First up is Cedartown, in race 5, the $150,000 GIII Mineshaft Handicap. Drawn 1 of 8, Cedartown is an 8/5 shot, with Joe Bravo in the saddle, to maintain his extraordinary good form.

In the next race, Five Hearts and Hallie Belle both line up for Stidham in the $75,000 Albert M. Stall Memorial Stakes. Eleven go to post. Five Hearts is drawn 1, and is an 8-1 shot with Joe Bravo riding. While Hallie Belle, drawn 10, will be ridden by Robby Albarado, and is a 12-1 shot.

Synchrony is the stable representative in race 8, the $150,000 GIII Fair Grounds Handicap. Drawn 8 of 12, Synchrony will have, once again, the able services of Bravo in the saddle, and is a 9-2 shot.

Rounding off the action in race 9 is Supreme Aura in the $400,000 Risen Star Stakes, to see whether the young colt has serious Derby potential. Drawn 6 of 10, Supreme Aura is an 8-1 shot to prevail under Bravo.
