Belle looking for repeat stakes win!

Hallie Belle, winner of the Pago Hop Stakes last December is looking to double her stake-race score card in tomorrow’s $100,000 Dahlia Stakes at Laurel Park.

But before we get to Hallie’s chances, let’s take a look at a nice mid-week winner for the Stidham stable – Repeat Repeat, who was winning his third race this year for owner Brent Gasaway under a fine ride by Samy Camacho at Tampa Bay Downs.

The jock had Repeat Repeat nicely placed on the heels of the leaders, and when they gunned for gold down the stretch, his mount stuck to his task in fine fashion to win by a head.

You sure wouldn’t bet against this super horse to add to his win haul this year.

As for Hallie Belle, this four-year-old daughter of Medaglia d’Oro is drawn five of ten in tomorrow’s Dahlia, and she’s a 15-1 shot to do the business under jockey Sheldon Russell.
