Fab four!

Talk about starting with a bang! After a fantastic weekend of action when half of his eight runners at Fair Grounds duly obliged, Stidham finds himself an early leader on the trainer’s standings.

Dewey Lake got the ball rolling Friday in no uncertain fashion for owners Hill ‘N Dale Farm. On Saturday, the mighty Zubi Zubi Zu got her second win in a row, and her third this year, for owners Christine and Phil Hatfield.

You must have been using the safe work, Christine!

Yesterday, Jockamo’s Song and Masquerade, horses at polar opposite stages in their careers, provided a fine double for owners Dare to Dream Stable and M and M Thoroughbred Partners respectively. The former looks like another exciting young horse for Stidham, while Masquerade has proven a wonderful servant to the stable over the years.

Thanks to these gold medalists, along with a whole host of superb performances, Stidham leads the pack at Fair Grounds, with just shy of $100,000 already in the kitty and a strike rate of 50 percent.
