Mike Stidham may have been bumped from first to second place on the trainer’s standings at Arlington over the weekend (though he sits just $8,000 shy of new leader Larry Rivelli’s prize money haul), it was another bonanza weekend of winners at the Chicago track for the barn!
On Saturday, Yum Yum got the ball rolling to score her second career win under a nice ride by Mitchell Murrill. Owned by Phillip Maas, Yum Yum is now 2 for 8, and always puts her best foot forward when she hits the track. Later on the card, Tapanna made a first start for the Stidham stable a winning one, under man of the moment Mitchell Murrill. Feel the Thunder Stable should have more fun with the horse this summer in Chicago.
Feel The Thunder Stable and Michael Faber’s Dare To Dream Stable enjoyed another nice winner the day after, when Fashion Hill broke her maiden under, yes, you’ve guesses it – Mitchell Murrill! This was only Fashion Hill’s third start, but this three-year-old daughter of Old Fashioned appears to be fast on the improve.
