Kingston Queen!

Kingston Terrace is proving to be quite the queen of Arlington, with an imperious win yesterday that was her fifth overall at the Chicago venue – thus far!

Given a ride oozing in confidence by Jose Valdivia, Kingston Terrace was settled on the heels of the leaders for the first portion of the race before putting her competitors to the sword down the stretch, careening away to win by four-and-a-half lengths.

Kingston Terrace has been a veritable superstar for Michael Faber’s Dare To Dream Stable down the years. Now six, she has won nine races and bagged $125,985 in career earnings. And she has proven (as if proof was needed), that Mike Stidham has the magic touch with fillies.

As to this weekend, it’s a relatively quiet one for the Stidham stable. Here’s a look at the weekend entries:

The Zip Zip Man – Race 3, Allowance

Mi Fiori – Race 2, Claiming $50,000
Bayago – Race 4 Starter, Allowance $5,000
Heart Stopper – Race 8, Claiming $10,000

Churchill Downs
Gridiron Cat – Race 10, Maiden Special Weight
