Sensational six-timer!

Wow, wow, wow!

The last Stidham update on Friday boasted the stable’s red-hot form, and so it proved over the weekend with a quite unbelievable six-timer that puts Stidham back on top of the trainer’s standings at Arlington.

Let’s start with Churchill Downs on Saturday, where the nine-year-old Trend gained his second victory in succession for Stone Farm under Julien Leparoux. A few races later, Zubi Zubi Zu gained her sixth career victory for Christine and Phil Hatfield, under a perfectly judged ride from Brian Hernandez.

Over at Arlington, Forest Circle, a two-year-old filly by Arch, made a debut performance a winning one for owners Twin Creeks Racing Stable, demolishing the field with a near nine-length victory. She’s one to keep your eye on as the season progresses. Later in the day, the four-year-old Sashay finally broke her maiden for Stone Farm under a nicely judged ride by Mitchell Murrill.

On Sunday at Arlington, Meetmeforasmoke won on her first start for the Stidham stable and owners DARRS, Inc, while Trusty Truman rounded off the Stidham winning spree for owners Hill ‘N Dale Farm.

Stidham now leads Arlington with $419,745 in the bank and 23 individual wins.
