Week ahead…
It was a case of so close and yet so far for Stidham at the weekend, when Pin Oak Stable’s Synchrony finished a half-a-length second in the Henry S. Clark Stakes at Laurel Park.
It was still a great run by the four-year-old Tapit colt, and his chance to finally take home stake race gold appears just around the corner.
Over at Woodbine yesterday, Euroboss ran a super race in defeat to finish a bang-up third in the GIII Whimsical Stakes for owners DARRS, Inc.
What this also proves is that the Stidham stable is in fine heart at the moment, which bodes well for the week ahead (here are the week’s entries):
