Fabulous four-timer!

This past weekend proved yet another fine one for the stable, with an amazing four-timer Saturday, topped by Jockamo’s Song’s unforgettable victory in the $50,000 Louisiana Cup Sprint Stakes at Louisiana Downs.

The Dare to Dream Stable superstar was always dueling for the pace, and he kicked clear down the stretch to win by nearly four lengths under jockey Gerard Melancon. This was Jockamo’s Song’s second stakes race victory in a row (after a win last time out in the Louisiana Legends Sprint Stakes), and his fourth in total.

Also on Saturday, the Stidham stable enjoyed an amazing three-timer at Suffolk Downs.

Matthew Schera and Reiley McDonald’s Great Captain broke his maiden in decisive fashion. Dare to Dream Stable’s Golden Story was a resolute victor at the grand old age of seven. While Godolphin’s Charged showed class in a decent optional claimer.

All three horses were ridden by Brian Pedroza.

The following day, Highly Prized was a good winner for owners Signal Hill Farms at Arlington Park, sealing what was undeniably a bumper weekend for the Stidham stable. Here’s what the big man had to say about it all:

“I’m just so glad for the whole team,” said Stidham “Everyone works so hard. And when it all comes together like it did at the weekend, it’s just so gratifying.”

“And of course, we couldn’t do it all without the great support we get from some of the best owners in the sport.”
