Four in two!

And the winners keep on coming! Phew – what an amazing couple of days for the Stidham stable, with four winners in two days!

On Sunday at Arlington, Hill ‘N Dale Farm’s Nifty Nellie broke her maiden under Edgar Perez, nearer last than first out of the gates before passing the post by nearly three-quarters of a length.

Over at Suffolk Downs, Dare to Dream Stable’s seven-year-old Golden Story won his second race in a row, showing a fine attitude under jockey Edwin Gonzalez to win by one-and-a-half lengths.

Later on at Suffolk Downs, Sophieshardtocatch was a good winner for Philip Maas when taking the 11th race by one-and-a-quarter lengths, again under Edwin Gonzalez.

One day later at Arlington, Pradeep Padmanabhan’s Celtic Gold won her second race in a row, when trouncing the field by more than two lengths under Mitchell Murrill.

And now for the week’s entries, and Zipessa faces 11 other rivals in the $150,000 One Dreamer Stakes at Kentucky Downs tomorrow – rescheduled from the weekend. The multiple graded stakes win and placed-getting Zipessa is a 5-2 shot under Julien Leparoux to bag this nice prize, run over one mile and seventy yards.
