Big day for the stable!

Boy, oh boy! This weekend is set to be a veritable humdinger for fans of the stable, with five Stidham runners pointed towards four big stake races at Fair Grounds tomorrow!

So, without any further ado, let’s get rolling!

Sweetbaby is the first Stidham stake race contender, when she lines up alongside ten other horses in the $75,000 Marie G. Krantz Memorial Stakes, over 1 1/16th miles on the turf. Christopher Emigh rides, and she’s a 8-1 shot on the Morning Line.

Next up, Stellar Moon, who’s one of two Stidham runners to go to post in the 12-runner $150,000 Silverbulletday Stakes, a little over a mile. Robby Albarado is the lucky duck in the saddle, and Stellar Moon’s an overpriced 15-1 in the betting. Missive is the other Stidham runner in the Silverbulletday, and Joe Bravo rides the lightly raced 15-1 shot.

Now for Race 9 on tomorrow’s card, the GIII LeComte Stakes, in which the unbeaten Zeke is one of 14 runners in a competitive renewal of the race, run over a stiff mile. Joe Bravo rides the 15-1 shot in a race worth $200,000.

Finally, Cedartown goes to post among 11 other runners in the $75,000 Louisiana Stakes, over one mile 1/16th. Joe Bravo rides, once again, and the 10-1 shot in Race 10 on the card stands good each-way chances.
