Heiress looking for the dough!

Duel stakes-winning filly, Stallion Heiress, is looking for yet more black type today at Fair Grounds when she lines up in the $50,000 Nelson J. Menard Memorial Stakes.

The daughter of Exchange Rate hasn’t been seen out since June of last year, but word from the barn is that she’s in great form, and is plenty fit enough to run a decent race against the 11-strong field. Stallion Heiress is drawn 6, and the 9-2 shot has the able services of Joe Bravo on her back in this lickety-split turf sprint.

Before we get to the rest of the weekend runners, mention must go to DARRS Inc’s Dynashe, who claimed her second career victory in stunning fashion at Tampa Bay Downs last Sunday.

And now to the rest of the weekend entries:

Fair Grounds
It Is Time – Race 3, Maiden Special Weight

Fair Grounds
Mix and Mingle – Race 2, Maiden Claiming $12,500
