Heiress looking for the dough!
Duel stakes-winning filly, Stallion Heiress, is looking for yet more black type today at Fair Grounds when she lines up in the $50,000 Nelson J. Menard Memorial Stakes.
The daughter of Exchange Rate hasn’t been seen out since June of last year, but word from the barn is that she’s in great form, and is plenty fit enough to run a decent race against the 11-strong field. Stallion Heiress is drawn 6, and the 9-2 shot has the able services of Joe Bravo on her back in this lickety-split turf sprint.
