The REAL Pegasus!
What a weekend for the Stidham stable, topped by Supreme Aura showing courage and class in equal measure to claim the Pegasus Stakes at Monmouth Park!
Settled nicely off the pace by jockey Joe Bravo, Supreme Aura, owned by Stallionaire Enterprises, was produced down the stretch, sticking his neck out admirably when it mattered to win by a neck at the line.
This was Supreme Aura’s third victory in total, and his first stakes win. According to Mike, the win was a vindication “of all the great work put in by everybody behind the scenes, and a lovely boost for the owners, who are such great supporters of the yard.”
This wasn’t the only victory for the stable over the weekend. Go Metro Girl broke her maiden at Laurel Park on Saturday, running out a ready winner under jockey Russell Sheldon for owner John O’Hara.
