Win, win, win!
Oh yes, is the Stidham stable cooking on gas or what!
On Thursday, Stallionaire Enterprises’ It Is Time broke his maiden in fine fashion at Delaware Park, leading all the way before flashing past the post a half-length too good under Brian Pedroza.
Yesterday at Penn National, the three-year-old Lookin at Lucky gelding, Halite, showed himself to be a horse with no inconsiderable potential when scoring another all-the-way win for owners DARRS Inc under Julio Hernandez. Like It Is Time, Halite was breaking his maiden.
Over at Belmont Park yesterday, Virginia Kraft Payson’s Summer Sweet scored her first victory of the season in convincing fashion under jockey Joe Bravo. Summer Sweet’s three-length victory was well-deserved, and this consistent and well bred mare should easily follow up again.
