Catching up!

Before we get down to business and take a look at the stable’s weekend runners, let’s look back at all the Stidham winners over the past seven days!

Last Saturday, the fast improving Simsbury led almost start to finish to prevail at Arlington under Mitchell Murrill. This 3-year-old son of Blame was claiming his third victory in a row, and owners Signal Hill Farms has something potentially very exciting on their hands!

Two days later, Godolphin’s Reflected made a stunning debut at Arlington, running away with her debut contest under Mitchell Murrill. This 2-year-old daughter of Elusive Quality has a big future ahead of her, that’s for sure.

Amd now for the weekend. At Monmouth Park tomorrow, stable star Synchrony is drawn 2 of 8 in the $100,000 Red Bank Stakes, over a mile on the turf. He’s a 6/5 shot on the Morning Line, and has the services of Joe Bravo in the saddle.

Over at Kentucky Downs tomorrow, My Jilly is drawn 5 of 12 in the richly endowed $400,000 Exacta Systems Juvenile Fillies Stakes, over a mile on the turf. My Jilly’s 15-1 odds on the Morning Line are generous indeed, and the stable’s hopes are high that the young filly will do herself justice under jockey Sophie Doyle.
