Weekend update!

Here we are again, on the cusp of another exciting weekend for the Stidham stable!

But before we take a look at the entries over the next 48 hours, let’s look back at the winners over the past seven days.

Last Saturday,  e Five Racing Thoroughbreds’ Trophy Doll broke her maiden in great style, leading nearly all the way under Brian Pedroza. This Euro import looks to have an exciting future ahead of her.

One day later, Godolphin’s Sunset Wish, a grand Malibu Moon 2-year-old, looked equally as stylish in winning her second race in a row at Fair Grounds, Joe Bravo on board.

Today, the Stidham stable enjoyed an across the card double.  Virginia Kraft Payson’s Summer Sweet showed real guts under Jesus Castanon over at Tampa Bay Downs.

Over at Fair Grounds, Lake Local was another impressive winner for Godolphin, breaking her maiden stylishly under Joe Bravo. This Street Boss filly is one to keep an eye on, that’s for sure.

And now for the weekend big race entries.

Stidham is two-handed in the $75,000 Hut Hut Stakes at Gulfstream Park tomorrow. Sweet Diane is drawn 3 of 7 with Javier Castellano on board. She’s a 3-1 shot. Classic Fit is drawn on the outside, and is a 5-1 shot under Albin Jimenez.

Jockamo’s Song is drawn 4 of 10 in the $100,000 Louisiana Champions Day Sprint Stakes at Fair Grounds. With Mitchell Murrill on board, Jockamo’s Song is a 10-1 shot.
