Great for Godolphin!

A stable one-two in the weekend’s Hut Hut Stakes at Gulfstream Park? Does everything Stidham touch right now turn to gold?

The Hut Hut Stakes was, of course, a win for Godolphin, with Classic Fit (a gorgeous Bernardini filly), proving the best of the bunch, flying late under a precision-timed ride by Albin Jimenez to claim the $75,000 prize.

A fantastic second was Stallionaire Enterprises’s Sweet Diane. And the winning trainer was, understandably, delighted.

“This is another great result,” Stidham said. “These two fillies both have a touch of star quality. It’s always nice to get a bit of black type, and I think they both have great futures ahead of them. Very satisfying, too, to get this good result for such loyal owners. Can’t thank them enough.”
