First post of the year!

Happy New Year from everyone at Stidham racing! But before we take a look at our first big race runners of 2019, let’s take a look at the stable’s winners these past few days…

On the first day of the year, Pin Oak Stud’s Noble Thought was a fine and gritty winner at Fair Grounds, toughing it out under Mitchell Murrill to garner a sixth career victory.

On Saturday, the stable enjoyed a great double at Tampa Bay Downs, beginning with Hardaway, who shed his maiden tag under Antonio Gallardo for owners Burning Daylight Farms and Rebecca Galbraith.

A little later in the day, DARRS Inc’s Mizzen Mast 2-year-old filly Missmizz won on her racecourse debut, again under Antonio Gallardo, in the style of a very exciting young lady indeed.

Tomorrow at Delta Downs, Sunset Wish is drawn 7 of 8 in the $75,000 Take Charge Brandi Stakes. A duel winner at 2, Sunset Wish is a 7-2 shot under Timothy Thornton.

And here’s the rest of the stable’s entries this week:

Fair Grounds
Show and Tale – Race 6, Maiden Claiming $30,000
Jockamo’s Song – Race 8, Allowance Optional Claiming $35,000

Tampa Bay
Ocean Monarch – Race 7, Maiden Special Weight
