Synchrony’s back!

Guess who’s back??

Yep, stable star Synchrony is back in business, and he lines up in tomorrow’s Fair Grounds Handicap looking for a repeat win the $150,000 Grade III – a race he won last year.

A real stalwart in 2018 (he won four graded stakes last year), Synchrony is seeking to kick his 2019 season off in the best possible fashion. Drawn 9 of 11 with Joe Bravo on board, Synchrony is a 3-1 shot to repeat the dose! And according to Mike Stidham, the 6-year-old son of Tapit is showing all the rights signs at home.

Before we move onto the rest of the weekend entries, let’s take a look behind us, and make special mention of DARRS Inc’s Missmizz, who made it two for two last Sunday at Tampa Bay under Antonio Gallardo.

This 3-year-old daughter of Mizzen Mast showed guts aplenty that day, and is surely one to keep the right side of as she continues to improve.

Today at Fair Grounds, Desert Prophet showed a similarly gritty attitude, prevailing under jockey Declan Carroll to claim his third career victory for owners  Oak Crest Farm.
