Winning weekend!
An action packed few days resulted in a profitable weekend for the barn, with winners consecutive days at Tampa Bay Downs.
On Saturday, the Speedway Stable owned Proposition, a 3-year-old filly by Into Mischief, won nicely on her debut, quickly taking the race by the scruff of the neck under jockey Antonio Gallardo before drawing clear to win by 3 1/4 lengths. She looks like one to keep an eye on in the near future.
On Sunday, Benjamin Trask’s Fiesta Moon, a 4-year-old daughter of Skipshot, broke her maiden in the finest fashion possible, skipping away from the field under jockey Victor Severino to win by 8 1/2 lengths.
