What’s up, Doc?

Man, do we have a juicy line-up of action for you this weekend, with three Stidham stars gunning for gold in stake races both here and across the border in Canada.

But before, we take a look at these big race hopefuls, let’s turn our attention to a wonderful winner today at Laurel Park for owner Rick Kanter.

The two-year-old Into Mischief colt Doc Boy gave jockey Feargal Lynch the easiest win of his career, most probably, when running away with a maiden. Keep an eye out for this 5-length winner when he next reappears.

And now to the weekend, and tomorrow at Arlington, where Memory Bank is drawn 3 of 7 in the $75,000 Black Tie Affair Handicap, a 1 1/16th mile race on the turf. With Mitchell Murrill on board, Memory Bank is a 9-2 shot to garner his first black type victory.

Over at Monmouth Park, the improving Regal Image is drawn 1 of 8 in the $75,000 Wolf Hill Stakes, a 5 1/2 furlong sprint on the turf. With Nik Juarez on board, the duo are an 8-1 shot on the Morning Line.

Across the border at Woodbine, Carnival Colors is drawn 9 of  10 in the $125,000 GIII Ontario Colleen Stakes, a mile on the turf. With Emma-Jayne Wilson on board, the lightly raced Carnival Colors is a 15-1 shot to take home the prize.
