Red hot!

With the stable so red-hot, it only makes sense that Mike Stidham is seeking to capitalize on this rich vein of form as he fires arrows all over the joint this weekend – an armory that includes a hat-trick of stakes runners.

At Laurel Park on Saturday, the talented Saguaro Row is drawn 7 of 10 in the $75,000 Shine Again Stakes, over seven furlongs. Sheldon Russell takes the mount on the 5-2 shot.

Turning to Monmouth Park, Powell is drawn 9 of 12 in the $100,000 Rainbow Heir Stakes, a 5 1/2 furlong sprint on the turf. Jomar Torres is the man in the saddle on the 12-1 shot on the Morning Line.

On Sunday at Remington Park, Classic Fit is an exciting runner in the $200,000 G3 Remington Park Oaks, over 1 1/16th miles. A stakes winner already, Classic Fit will be ridden by Stewart Elliott, and the duo, drawn 1 of only four runners, is a 5-2 shot on the Morning Line.
