Big weekend!

You’re probably sick of hearing how every weekend is a big weekend for the stable – well, we don’t apologize for it this time, because this really IS a big weekend for the stable, with exciting stakes runners every day for the next three days!

So let’s start with Belmont Park tomorrow, and Alms is drawn 1 of 6 in the $150,000 G3 Matron Stakes, over six furlongs. This two-year-old daughter of City Zip is evens on the Morning Line, and enjoys the services of Jose Lezcarno.

Over at Santa Anita, stable superstar Synchrony is drawn 2 of 11 in the $200,000 G2 City of Hope Mile Stakes, a mile on the turf. Joe Talamo takes the ride on this multiple stakes winner, but it’s not going to be easy tomorrow – that’s why the pair are 5-1 on the Morning Line.

On Sunday,  our attention turns to Keeneland and Doc Boy who’s drawn 3 of 14 in the $250,000 G3 Dixiana Bourbon Stakes, a 1 1/16th miles contest on the turf. Doc Boy will be ridden by Feargal Lynch, and they’re 12-1 to land the spoils.

At Belmont Park, the exciting Embolden is drawn 3 of 6 in the $150,000 G3 Futurity Stakes, a 6 furlong sprint on the turf. With Joel Rosario on board, Embolden is a 7-2 shot to land a second stakes success in a row.

Then, on Monday at Parx Racing, the talented Elsa is drawn 9 of 12 in the $150,000 Parx Fall Oaks, over a mile on the turf. Trevor McCarthy takes the mount, and Elsa is a fairly fancied 3-1 shot.

And now to our recent winners!

Today at Meadowlands, the ex-European Croque Monsieur won impressively indeed to break his duck Stateside under Nik Juarez. DARRS Inc’s 4-year-old son of Intello can only move up from here.

Also today, at Belmont Park, Perpetrate looked like another tidy juvenile for the yard, scoring nicely under Joe Bravo. Owners Newtown Anner Stud certainly have a lot to look forward to!
