More with Missmizz?
Mike Stidham is looking to maintain the stable’s rich vein of stakes-winning form this weekend with Missmizz who lines up in the Ruling Angel Stakes at Woodbine Sunday.
How rich a vein of form are we talking? Well, last weekend, Alms won the G3 Matron Stakes at Belmont Park, while Albert Park streaked to success Wednesday in the Fitz Dixon, Jr. Memorial Juvenile Stakes at Presque Isle Downs.
That’s how rich!
As for Missmizz, she’s drawn 1 of 14 in the $100,000 event Sunday, a sprint over 6 1/2 furlongs. A winner of the Blue Sparkler Stakes already this season, Missmiss, ridden by Jerome Lermyte, is a 20-1 shot to claim her second career stakes victory.
