Big weekend at Belmont!
Here we are, once again, poised before another exciting weekend of action, with the Stidham stable locked and loaded in a number of big races.
On Saturday at Belmont Park, Pixelate is drawn 4 of 11 in the $100,000 Awad Stakes, over a mile on the turf. With Jose Lazcano on board, Pixelate is a 15-1 shot, but don’t be surprised to see him put in a run that defies his odds.
The next day at Belmont Park, Micheline is drawn 9 of 12 in the $100,000 Chelsey Flower Stakes, again, a mile race on the turf. John Velazquez takes the mount on the 12-1 shot, who’s taking a step back in company after her last race in a G1.
Later on, on the same car, Saguaro Row is drawn 8 of 8 in the $100,000 Pumpkin Pie Stakes, over seven furlongs. Joel Rosario is the man in the saddle, and they’re an 8-1 shot to take home the gold.
