Fabulous three-timer!
The Stidham stable fired out a fantastic across-the-card three-timer today, led by Saguaro Row’s decisive victory in the $100,000 Interborough Stakes at Aqueduct.
Owned by Newtown Anner Stud and Mark Breen, Saguaro Row was given a peach of a ride by Jose Lezcano to win by more than 2 lengths. This win brings Saguaro Row’s stake victories to 2 (after she won last year’s Pumpkin Pie Stakes), and she looks up to plenty more where that came from.
Over at Fair Grounds, Kingpin produced a sensational maiden-breaking performance under Shaun Bridgmohan. Twin Creeks Racing Stables and Rick Ortyl’s 3-year-old son of Quality Road led all the way to win by more than 7 lengths.
Later on the card, Vintage Thoroughbreds and Bradley Thoroughbreds’s Alba’s Star was equally as impressive, shrugging the monkey off her back when winning by 6 lengths under Mitchell Murrill.
Stallionaire Enterprises had a much tougher time of it on Saturday at Tampa Bay, showing great tenacity to grind out a win under Pablo Morales. This 3-year-old daughter of Central Banker can build on this win.
