Victory, Clear as Day!
Pin Oak Stud’s Clear as Day might not have won by a clear as day margin at Tampa Bay Downs Wednesday, but a win’s a win, and this 4-year-old daughter of Sky Mesa now has a valuable single digit next to her name.
Kept up close to the pace under jockey Angel Suarez, Clear as Day really had to knuckle down to it in the final furlong to prevail by a nose. Having broken her maiden, Clear as Day can step up again on this evidence.
