I Hear You baby!
It’s another exciting weekend ahead for the Stidham barn, with a host of big race entries. But first, let’s take a look at a lovely maiden-breaking performance from I Hear You at Keeneland on Wednesday.
Owned by Bradley Thoroughbreds, Tim and Anna Cambron, and Zane Brady Carruth, I Hear You was given a lovely patient ride by Tyler Gaffalione to win comfortably in the end. Keep an eye out for this 3-year-old daughter of Street Sense when she reappears.
And now for the weekend runners, with Alms drawn 4 of 6 in the $150,000 G2 Appalachian Stakes at Keeneland, a mile race on the turf. This three-time stakes winner has the able services of Joel Rosario in the saddle, and together they’re a 6-5 shot on the Morning Line.
Over at Monmouth Park, the talented Call On Mischief is drawn out wide in the ten-runner $75,000 Blue Sparkler Stakes, a turf sprint over 5 1/2 furlongs. Joe Bravo takes the ride on the 4-1 shot.
One day later at Monmouth Park, Kingpin takes his first shot at black type in the $75,000 My Frenchman Stakes, a 5 1/2 furlong turf sprint. Drawn 8 of 9 under Joe Bravo, Kingpin is a 3-1 shot on the Morning Line.
