Big Red Rocks rocks!
Elise Saks’s Big Red Rocks was a fine debut winner at Monmouth Park over the weekend, blazing a trail at the front to win by a length and a half under jockey Hector Diaz.
This lovely 3-year-old Red Rocks colt has been brought along very steadily by Stidham, and is just the sort that the trainer does so well with. Keep an eye out for when Big Red Rocks appears again.
The good times are set to continue this week, with the Stidham stable firing out a couple of big race runners.
At Saratoga on Thursday, Mystic Guide is drawn 6 of 9 in the $100,000 G3 Peter Pan Stakes, over 1 1/8th miles. Jockey Jose Ortiz takes the mount.
One day later at Saratoga, Positive Spirit is drawn 3 of 10 in the $85,000 Shine Again Stakes, over seven furlongs. Tyler Gaffalione rides.
