Weekly double!

A couple of nice victories this week ensures that the name on everybody’s lips has got to be Stidham!

DARRS Inc’s Valdolobo ran out a wide-margin winner for the barn at Presque Isle Downs under Pablo Morales. But alas, this ex-Euro runner was subsequently claimed out of the barn.

Over at Delaware Park, Philip Maas’s Skol Chant broke her maiden under a very determined Angel Suarez ride, enhancing her paddock value very nicely indeed.

The Stidham stable’s sights this weekend are aimed even higher, starting at Delaware tomorrow with Militiaman who lines up 6 of 9 in the $75,000 DTHA Governors Day Handicap, over an extended mile.  Brian Pedroza takes the mount.

Over at Woodbine, the useful Tomlin seeks some graded stakes gold in the $125,000 G3 Ontario Fashion Stakes, over six furlongs. Drawn 4 of 6, Tomlin has Rafael Hernandez in the saddle, and is a 3-1 shot on the Morning Line.
