Big day tomorrow!
Tomorrow’s gearing up to be something of a potential blockbuster for the barn, with not one, not two, but three stake race runners!
At Keeneland, Tomlin is drawn 4 of 12 in the $150,000 G3 Buffalo Trace Franklin County Stakes, which is a turf sprint over 5 1/2 furlongs. With James Graham in the saddle, this 50-1 shot is seeking a first graded stakes victory.
Over at Laurel Park, the lightly raced Tasting the Stars is drawn 5 of 6 in the $75,000 Brookmeade Stakes, a turf race over 1 1/16th miles. Trevor McCarthy takes the mount on last year’s Just Jenda Stakes winner, who’s 8/5 on the Morning Line.
Later down the card comes the turn of Embolden, who’s drawn 5 of 14 in the $75,000 Punch Line Stakes, another turf sprint over 5 1/2 furlongs. McCarthy is once again in the saddle, and together they’re 9/5 on the Morning Line.
