Grace under fire!
DARRS Inc’s Zoysia was a super winner for connections yesterday at Woodbine, storming away with her second career victory under Rafael Hernandez.
The postscript to the race, however, was one that saw Zoysia claimed out of the barn.
Onto the weekend, and the big man is headed to Churchill Downs tomorrow with Princess Grace who’s drawn 4 of 7 in the $200,000 G2 Mrs. Revere Stakes, a turf race over 1 1/16th miles. This lightly raced 3-year-old, second last time out in the G3 Pin Oak Valley View Stakes, is a 3-1 shot on the Morning Line with Florent Geroux in the saddle.
