Winning week!

It’s been a helluva week for the Stidham stable (and a great start to the current Fair Grounds meet), and so, without any further ado, let’s take a look at all the barn’s winners over the past week!

Last Saturday at Fair Grounds, Singapore Flash was a nice winner for DARRS Inc., claiming a 4th career win under a strong Angel Suarez ride. This 4-year-old Shanghai Bobby gelding has been well placed since trained by Stidham.

The next day at the same track, the Godolphin 2-year-old More Than Ready filly, Montpelier, was an extremely impressive victor under Angel Suarez, gunning away to win by more than 6 lengths. Obviously fast on the improve, keep an eye out for her next time she reappears.

Yesterday at Fair Grounds, Stidham sent two horses to post, and they both came back winners.

Louisianalightning, owned by Marc Winston, George Schifano and 4 G Racing, produced an equally impressive performance, breaking his maiden in the process. This 3-year-old son of Competitive Edge was eased down to win by more than 5 lengths.

One race later, Doc Girl was the epitome of professionalism when breaking her maiden at the first time of trying under Geroux. Owned by Stallionaire Enterprises, this 2-year-old daughter of Elusive Quality is one for the notebooks.

And now to Sunday at Aqueduct, where Saguaro Row is drawn 2 of 7 in the $100,000 Garland of Roses Stakes, a six furlong sprint. The popular stakes winning Saguaro Row is a 7-2 shot on the Morning Line, and will be ridden by Joel Rosario.
