Leading the pack!

The latest Fair Grounds meet has only been in action a short while, but the Stidham stable is already leading the trainer’s pack in number of victories, with a tidy six alongside Brad Cox!

As to the weekend just gone, Barry Golden’s Yes This Time broke his maiden at the second time of asking with a good turn of foot under Mitchell Murrill. This Not This Time 2-year-old colt stepped up appreciably on his debut, and there’s no reason why he shouldn’t do so again next time he reappears.

Over at Tampa Bay Downs, Mt. Brilliant Farm’s Night Things produced a good maiden victory under Antonio Gallardo. The Medaglia d’Oro colt really finished the race nicely, and is sure to learn plenty from the experience.
