Barleewon easily!

The fine Louisiana form of the stable continued this week, with a nice win for Barleewon Thursday at Fair Grounds.

Given a positive ride by Mitchell Murrill, Barleewon was hustled to the lead early on, and there he stayed, passing the post more than two lengths clear of the runner-up.

This made it two wins out of the last two starts for Feel The Thunder Stable’s Animal Kingdom gelding, and you wouldn’t bet against him making it the trifecta next time!

Earlier in the week at Turfway Park, Speedway Stable and Stone Farm’s Advocating ran out a fine winner under Gerardo Corrales, breaking her maiden in the process.

A magnificently bred 3-year-old filly by Unclo Mo out of the graded stakes winning Leigh Court (who Stidham trained to claim grade 3 honours), Advocating looks like she has a bright future ahead of her.
