Weekend update!
The Stidham stable is barrelling into the weekend on the back of a fruitful week’s worth of action, with winners today and another last weekend at Tampa Bay Downs.
Let’s start with last weekend, and a nice winner for Hill ‘N Dale Farm’s Fly Nightly, who scored by a hard-fought head under Hector Diaz. This consistent gelding has been knocking on the door for a while, and it will have done his confidence the works of good to get his head in front once again.
This afternoon at the Florida track, Philip Maas’s homebred, Skol Chant, won with relative ease under Diaz. This 4-year-old daughter of Paddy O’Prado has now won 3 of her 10 career starts, and judging by today’s performance, her winning days aren’t done yet!
