Gershwin’s winning tune!

The all-conquering Godolphin stable enjoyed an exciting winner at Fair Grounds on Saturday, when the regally-bred Gershwin made a second career start a winning one under Adam Beschizza.

The 3-year-old son of Distorted Humor overcame a bumpy start, sat on the heels of the leaders for much of the way before striking decisively down the stretch to win by three lengths. Third on his debut last month at the Louisiana track, the well-named Gershwin (a home-bred out of Music Note) looks to have an exciting future ahead of him.
