Back to business!
After a relatively quiet few weeks following the fireworks from Dubai World Cup night, the Stidham stable carnival gets rocking and rolling again this weekend, with a couple nice runners in one of Pimlico’s marquee events on Saturday.
But before we examine the weekend action, let’s take a look at a lovely performance by the Twin Creeks Racing Stables and Mt. Brilliant Farm-owned Established, who broke his maiden in fine style Wednesday at Indiana Grand. Given a confident ride by Rodney Prescott, Established showed that he’s a horse still on the improve, seeing as he’s still slightly raced.
And now for the weekend!
Tomorrow at Pimlico, Doc Boy and Pixelate provide a Stidham double-whammy in the $100,000 Henry S. Clark Stakes, a turf race over 1 1/16th miles. Doc Boy, drawn 12 of 12, is a 15-1 shot on the Morning Line, while Pixelate, under Victor Carrasco, is drawn 4, and is the more fancied of the two Stidham runners at 5-2.
