Weekend update
Preakness Stakes weekend sees the Stidham stable fire a lone runner at the Maryland track tomorrow, but before we look ahead, let’s turn our attention to a lovely result at Indiana Grand racetrack on Wednesday.
CJ Thoroughbreds’ Moon of Love was highly tried in the United Kingdom, running frequently in graded stakes company during her 2-year-old career, before being transferred to the United States. Under a well-judged Marcelino Pedroza ride, Moon of Love broke her U.S. duck in good fashion, slipping up the rail before passing the post a length to the good.
This win will have done the 4-year-old daughter of Kodiac a world of good, and it’ll be exciting to see where Stidham sends her next.
