War Machine on the Mark!
Across the border into Canada this weekend, the Stidham stable enjoyed a lovely winner for owners Mt. Brilliant Stables!
Having only his second career start, War Machine stepped up considerably on his debut. Ridden prominently by Gary Boulanger, the three-year-old son of War Front enjoyed a ding-dong battle with the runner-up down the home stretch, prevailing by a nose at the wire.
With more improvement likely, War Machine will be one to keep an eye on next time he reappears.
