Double Delight!

What a cracking weekend for the stable, with two wins and a second from just three runners!

Let’s start with Saturday at Delaware, when the DARRS Inc. owned Aurum made it two wins out of three career starts, with an imperious display on her first run back after a break.

Ridden confidently by Carol Cedeno, this 4-year-old daughter of Munnings stalked the pace before kicking clear down the stretch, passing the post by nearly four lengths. Given how lightly raced she is, there’s surely more to come from this exciting filly.

One day later at Laurel Park, the Lael Stables owned Vodkatini broke her maiden in determined fashion, getting her head in front near the wire under Jevian Toledo. A well-bred daughter of Divining Rod, Vodkatini is another one with more improvement under the belt.
