Prima Prima!

The week ahead is a bursting with action, and the Stidham stable’s barrelling into it on the back of another successful weekend.

Susan and John Moore’s Prima Ballerina broke her maiden in impressive fashion at Laurel Park on Saturday under Jevian Toledo, running out a 7 1/2 length winner. This 3-year-old daughter of Liam’s Map has enhanced her paddock value no end, and by the looks of Saturday’s performance, her winning days aren’t over yet.

As for this week, the headline act is undoubtedly Princess Grace, one of 9 runners in tomorrow’s G3 Dr. James Penny Memorial Stakes at Park Racing, a race she won last year.

Stripping fitter after her seasonal debut last June, Princess Grace is a 9/5 shot for tomorrow’s race over 1 and 1/16th miles to add to her already impressive graded stake haul of four such victories.
