Lael Stables’ home-bred Ready to Venture was a gutsy winner today at Colonial Downs, knuckling down under jockey Jevian Toledo to claim her second Stateside victory this year.
A talented runner for trainer William Haggas in England, Ready to Venture has thrived since arriving on these shores, and this well-bred daughter of Kingman looks as though she’s capable of even more if she remains in this kind of fine form.
