Million Dollar Repeat?

The stable’s fantastic old warrior, Pixelate, is gunning for a repeat victory in the $1 million G3 Winter Mint Million Stakes at Kentucky Downs tomorrow – a race he won last year.

First, however, we’ve a couple lovely wins to celebrate from this week, starting with Marvelous Time, a 2-year-old daughter of Distorted Humor who showed a fantastic attitude Wednesday on her debut to prevail by a neck under Antonio Gallardo at Presque Isle Downs.

Owned and bred by Godolphin, Marvelous Time is an exciting prospect for the stable.

Over at Colonial Downs the same afternoon, DARRS Inc’s Goldbuster was similarly determined in breaking his maiden under jockey Joseph Rocco Jr. This 2-year-old son of Goldencents really stepped up on his debut earlier in the month, and more is certainly expected from him.

Now to tomorrow, and the Winter Mint Million Stakes at Kentucky Downs, in which Pixelate is drawn 3 of 9, Florent Group on board. With a nice pipe-opener under his belt last month after a long lay-off, Pixelate should strip fit for tomorrow.

This prolific son of City Zip has been a magnificent money earner for connections over the years – indeed, he has $1,140,993 in the kitty already. And this 5-year-old is a 5-2 shot on the Morning Line to prevail tomorrow.

Here are the stable’s other entries this weekend:

Saturday

Delaware Park
Jack a Rose – Race 7, Allowance
