Don’t Worry!
The stable’s fine recent form continued this week with the good win yesterday of Worry Free at Turfway Park!
This Godolphin homebred was having just her second career start, and took a little while to get into gear, but when she did, boy didn’t she fly, storming home down the home stretch to win by a hard-fought neck under Gerardo Corrales.
This well-bred 3-year-old daughter of Cairo Prince (out of a G1 winner in Indy Five Hundred) enhanced her paddock value no end with that win, but there’s surely more to come on the track before she heads off to the breeding shed.
As for tomorrow at Turfway Park, the talented Ready To Venture is looking for back-to-back stakes wins with a victory in the Holiday Inaugural Stakes, a six-furlong sprint on the all-weather.
A winner last time out of the H.B.P.A. Stakes at Presque Isle Downs, Ready To Venture is drawn 9 of 12 with Corrales in the saddle. Together, they’re a 3-1 shot on the Morning Line.
And now for the rest of the weekend entries:
