Weekend update!
It’s a quiet couple of days for the Stidham stable this weekend, but that gives us a good opportunity to look back at a lovely win last weekend at Fair Grounds for the stable’s Nelson Avenue.
This Godolphin homebred out of the talented race-mare, Via Strata, got a bit of a bumpy start but was soon sent to the head of affairs before passing the post half a length too good under Florent Geroux.
Nelson Avenue is now 2 for 3 in his career, and this lovely son of Into Mischief is one to keep on the right side of this winter at the New Orleans track.
