Starting With a Bang!

The stable’s red-hot end to last year has extended into this one, with a lovely winner at Fair Grounds over the weekend.

Up and Up Racing’s Afikoman hadn’t made it to the winner’s circle since the end of 2021, but enjoyed a bit of racing luck after the horse who finished first past the post in Saturday’s race was disqualified after a bit of mid-race scrimmaging, paving the way for the Stidham runner to claim gold.

This was Afikoman’s second career victory, and chances are, this 4-year-old son of Jimmy Creed is far from done yet!
