Weekend Update!

After Proxy’s barnstorming run in last weekend’s Santa Anita “Big Cap” Handicap, when he came with a wet sail to land a highly admirable second place finish, we turn our attention tomorrow to Fair Grounds, and another stab at the black type pie for CJ Thoroughbreds’ Hang the Moon.

Hang the Moon is drawn 3 of 8 in the $75,000 Allen Black Cat LaCombe Memorial Stakes, a mile contest on the turf. Brian Hernandez takes the mount on the 4-1 shot on the Morning Line. 

This exciting 3-year-old daughter of Uncle Mo is 2 from 4, and is coming off a flashy win last time out at the same track.
